Today I’m talking a little about headphones – open back and closed back.

I use my open back AKG’s for broadcasting and casual listening.

I use the Audio Technica ATH-M30’s closed back for isolated listening and in my travel kit for editing.

I no longer wear headphones for recording voice overs, but I found it helpful when I started – to hear what the microphone heard. Do you wear headphones while recording, or just when editing?
